WW2 German Assault Pioneer

German assault pioneers were highly trained in construction, demolition, and close combat. They were also experts at using explosives, building fortifications, establishing communications lines, and setting up tank traps and minefields. When used as assault troops, they supported infantry attacks by clearing enemy defenses, and were often used in house-to-house fighting.
